Return NIV84 translation

The NIV84 has less gender neutral language and speaks to me more as a guy. I am unsure if it is a "better" translation but it is the version I grew up with and it is also the one I bought when I purchased Glo Bible.

Unfortunately the owners of the translation will not let us or any other bible app include the NIV 84 i their apps.

I can understand you're idea and appreciate the thought process, but the 1984 NIV was theologically and translated wrong in many places.  The whole reason for the new NIV was to address those shortcomings. Maybe try NLT if gender neutral is important to you, though that can be a slipppery slope also in books like Romans, James, I/II Chronicles.... so maybe an ESV (the most researched and concise translation from the Greek in history/and done by a huge team instead of one or a few individuals {meaning it was vetted and given great scholarly scrutiny}).  The HCSB would also be worth looking at if modernity is so important.
