We need your help to make Glo Bible even better!
All your notes are still saved. We made a massive transition over to a new optimized architecture. We are aware that there have been login and migration issues due to the massive amount of traffic that we have been getting and we are looking into it now, they should be fixed over the next week or 2, rest assured your data is still there.
If you are still having issues please submit a request here: http://globible.com/migration/
the old journal feature was turned into the notes section under the notepad. As we mentioned, the notes migration ran into some issues but you should see all your notes there over the next week or 2. Thanks!
I have lost not only my notes but the bookmarks as well. I was well into the reading plans of the Bible in a year and that is lost as well.
My notes since July 24 are not in the new Glo yet. Notes from July 17, 2016 to March 14, 2014 are in the new Glo.
Michael thanks for your feedback our developers are looking into this now and have a few questions. How were you entering the new notes in via the old or new app? If you entered them via the new app they should be there. Once you logged into your account on the updated glo, any new notes taken on the old glo will not show up in new glo.
I miss the old glo bible there's is no description for the verses( that helped a lot ) it feels dreary,I feel like I lost my best friend
I have lost all of my reading plans. I had completed several plans, but I can no longer find that information. I am very disappointed.
Sunday, July 29, 2012 I gave up my old paper version of the Bible and was committed using GloBible as my primary Bible. I carried my iPad to church and to my class while teaching Old Testament at a Christian High school. Giving up my hard copy was difficult thing to do because of my many notes and sermon highlights over the years.
With GloBible I had no regrets. It helped with documenting my notes and teaching. Everything was saved and easily referenced. My journal from the old GloBible was exactly that, a journal of all my Bible, sermons, study notes from 2012 to this year. I could go there and seek my journal entries with ease.
Now I am not able to find them. I am sure they are saved somewhere, but they are hidden better an Easter egg.
I was once GloBible's best supporter and highly recommended to all my friends and students. I cannot do that now. In my opinion, the change was not a good thing. I believe you got it right the first time.
I have been trying to use the new version for sometime now and I find it wanting. I enjoy the audible reading and that is all I find to be an improvement.
Please listen to you customers, I would be willing to bet you have not received to reviews you were hoping for. The time, the money, and the effort you have spent trying to improve GloBible should be chalked up as a failed investment.
Please bring back back the the GloBible that I purchased in 2012. I still have the old app on my iPad
Today is October 24 and you still haven't fixed the journal issue.......
I have had the Glo Bible Reader + for some time now recently it's been crashing. Anyway after much trouble shooting I decided to look it up in the App Store only to realize that it's not there and have been replaced by the new Glo Bible. No heads up no announcements nothing. I also did some research and saw that all prior purchases are transferred to new one which is a good thing since I bought the Glo premium and the Mac Authur study bible. But here is the one thing that has my angry (Godly anger) all my journal notes that I have compiled over the years have not been transferred now I don't have access to my journal or my reading plans that I've been in the middle of because the old program keeps crashing and the new one doesn't support it.
Thank you for changing what was already an awesome product into garbage. It seems like every time a company comes up with a good product they always make it worse along the way rather than make it better.
